Privacy Policy

Effective July 25, 2026

Local conversion

UnixTick performs timestamp and date conversions in your browser. The values you enter, selected time zones and legacy URL hash values are not sent to a UnixTick conversion server.

Data collection

UnixTick uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic and usage, such as page views, approximate location, device and browser information, and referral sources. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers for measurement. UnixTick does not intentionally send or store the timestamp or date values you enter as analytics events.

Hosting records

The hosting provider may process standard request metadata, such as an IP address, browser information and requested file paths, to deliver and secure the site. Conversion values and legacy hash fragments are processed by the browser and are not included in normal HTTP requests.

Local browser features

Copy actions use your browser clipboard only after you select a Copy button. UnixTick does not read unrelated clipboard content. The current MVP does not save conversion history.

Third-party services

UnixTick loads the Google tag from Google to provide analytics. Google may process analytics data under its own terms and privacy policy. The application does not use third-party conversion APIs, and timestamp conversions continue to run locally in your browser.

Changes and questions

This policy may be updated when the service or its hosting arrangements change. Questions should be directed through the contact method published on the UnixTick website.
